Goldfish

so we took the girls to the Jackson County Apple festival this weekend for them to enjoy some rides and games... and so Kristi and I could get some fair style food. It was not a bad time overall but I let my impatience and temper get the best of me when we got there. I was getting perturbed at not being able to find a place to park and then when we got into the festival area... man I hate carnies. The one thing that really upset me though was unlike the county fair they use a pay per ride system, which would not be so bad for a family with one child... but at two dollars a ride per kid... that adds up fast. We got some tickets and let the girls ride a couple of rides each and let them play a couple of games each. The twins wanted to doing the fishing game and Sydney wanted to throw the balls into the fishbowls. On any normal day we would not have been able to get a ball in .... but low and behold my daughter gets TWO in. So now we have a couple of little goldfish to care for... Goldie and Swimmy. Went to Walmart and got a little plastic fishbowl.... which Sydney dropped halfway through the store. We get home and put them in and yep it leaked... so now the fish are swimming in a large mixing bowl until we can get back to Walmart. Until next time...

Taxes

You know I dont mind paying taxes one bit.... I think that it is a good thing. It makes things possible that most people take for granted... roads, law enforcment, helping those in need etc. I dont mind that Uncle Sam takes their share really I dont.... but. I am tired of the abuse of my tax dollars. The state and the goverment need to get their heads out of their rearends and put my money where it needs to go and get rid of some of the BS it is spending money on. I think the welfare system in Ohio is wonderful but it needs to hold some people accountable. The next time I see someone with a brand new tattoo in line at the grocery buying 6 cases of Pepsi... I dunno I may just snap. Dont get me wrong I dont mind one bit helping someone in need get food on their plat... I am blessed with a wonderful job and that allows me to not mind... but if you got enough money to go and get a full sleeve tat and cant put food on the table... You need your priorities checked! Remember everyone these are my opinions. Until next time...

Mi Vida Loca... or however you spell it

Well I had a feeling this morning on my way into work... I of course being the pessimist that I am thought it to be a bad feeling.... little did I know that God was working a miracle for me. Due to some unforeseen circumstances at work we had an appointed position open up and I was asked by my supervisor if I was interested..... hmm let me see.. Monday through Friday 9-5 holidays off..... um Yes. So that made my day and Kristi's to I think. I also found out that my sister-in-law passed her nursing test.... so Congrats Sheila! Nothing else really happened today... just a good day all together.

Gonna be a good day...

Well its finally Monday and I am in a great mood. Kristi made it in about 3:30 last night after a long five days I was happy to see her safe and sound at home. It was kinda bittersweet because she wanted to tell me about everything and I wanted to listen to everything but we were both so tired. I think all in all she had a good time. I want to touch on something and I will be done for the morning... I think it should be mandatory for every soon to be father to go through some sort of training before the birth of their first child and I also think the state should put on some good training in that regard. Now I am not talking about how to mentally be a father or how to throw a ball with a 7 year old ... I am talking about good old fashion stuff... like how to fix your daughter's hair for school. It would have come in very handy for me seeing as how I have four daughters! I guess the hair brush and the occasional headband (those are easy to put in) will have to work for now. So all in all the state of my sports world is low....Bucks and Bengals both lost over the weekend... at least Dale Jr had a good showing. Until next time...

My weekend.

Well my weekend this week is so bittersweet and contradicting. I have worked every day for the past three weeks and I finally got a few days off. I actually took two extra days off from my vacation account at work. So to add that up it is four straight days off ... awesome right... no! Kristi is on a work trip in Las vegas so instead of being able to relax and enjoy some quality time with my one and only... I get to sit here and watch TV with my girls. I am happy she got to go do something like this for little or no cost to us ... but I miss her. She misses us to. Its not so bad .... I get to sit around today and tomorrow and watch football and racing...hahaha I am taking my TV BACK lol. Cartoons are the norm on it but the girl and I have made an understanding. I woke up this morning to a pool in my bathroom.... I have a bad problem with the sink. I had Dave bring my snake over and I snaked it and it seems to be working now so we will see. Well time to get my butt up and straighten up the living room... I might take the girls to the park... not sure yet. Until next time...

Why I created this.

I am sure there are more people that do not care than do... but I have created a blogspot in order to share my thoughts and to rant and rave and vent my thoughts. I am in a career that naturally produces many stories and moments that I usually need to share with someone. My plan is to share some of the things I run into on a daily basis with everyone, but I will not publish names or personal details.
